Nearly ten million families in this country are headed by single mothers and half of all children currently in the US will live with a single mom at least once in their lives, which presents unique challenges for these mothers and the societies that should support them. In this session Rabia will share her personal story of single motherhood, and the blessings and difficulties faced by millions of mothers going it alone.
